3D for beginner home use

I know many on here will cringe.

My apologies in advance.

My wife has been hinting for a few years now on wanting a 3D printer. I personally don’t see a tremendous amount of use for home but I’m assuming there are plenty of projects out there.

My query is on best printer for a beginner for home use. One that doesn’t require a lot of set up or minimal. One that someone can learn on.

I’ve been looking at Bambu and Creality.

Thank you in advance.

Have had many brands of 3d printers since 2021… Just purchased a Bambu Labs A1 mini for my print farm. Will be ordering many more.
While it can handle industrial use, it’s really an amazing beginner unit. Had shoulder surgery right before getting it, and with one arm was able to get it out of box and assembled.
Printed the included fast benchy in PETG, perfect print, first time.
Have printed many hundreds of parts on it with only one partial failure which was my fault in slicing it.
It only has a 7.1" build volume, but if that works for you, I’d highly recommend the A1 mini.
