Sidewinder X2: BIGTREETECH Octopus V1.1, Stepper Motors

Hi
my printer was born out of luck :frowning:
I had breakdowns:

  1. Stepper driver fused
  2. X axis sensor
  3. BL
  4. Now the bed doesn’t heat up anymore, I tried to replace it but nothing changes.

2,3,4 points are happened in only 2 days

so i think my motherboard is damaged.
I want to replace it with BIGTREETECH Octopus V1.1 with TMC2209
I cannot find information regarding the amperage for the original Sidewinder motors.
Without this I don’t know how to set the vref on the new TMC2209

Is anyone can help me?

I don’t remember the exact VREF set to the stepper drivers on the X2, but I think a value of 0.9V works great. Just ensure that the stepper motors don’t get too hot during operation.
